The inception of the Limited Liability Company (LLC) Microcredit Organization (MCO) "OXUS" traces back to a microfinance project initiated by the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) in 1997. The significant demand for microfinance services, the expansion of the initial project, and the enactment of the Microfinance Institutions Law of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2005 led to the official registration of the LLC MCO "OXUS" as a microcredit organization in January 2006.
Date of registration of “OXUS” LLC MCO is 18th of November 2005
First License was issued on 17th of January 2006, which was replaced by the second one issued on 16th of October 2013
"OXUS" LLC MCO has the right to perform the following banking operations:
• Disbursement of microloans
• Making forward and swap deals for itself
OXUS Holding SA is a shareholder of OXUS Tajikistan with 100% of the share.
